Q: What is required to start a NatHERS certificate or BASIX report?

Before commencing, the following documents should be provided:

• A site plan that identifies all boundaries, fences (including heights), and any adjoining properties.
• A north point for orientation.
• A floor plan for each level of the building.
• Elevations of all external walls.
• Sections that show ground levels, floor and ceiling heights, bulkheads, and roof levels.
• If available, a window and door schedule (alternatively, you may indicate this information on the plans).
• Plans and drawings should be to scale.
