Omega-3 Oils
The discovery in 1985 that our entire population was deficient in Omega-3 fats, one of the two essential fatty acids, led to the world wide search for the richest source of Omega-3 - Flaxseed oil.
Flaxseed Oil is plant oil high in Omega-3 (ALA). Humans can convert ALA to EPA and DHA in their bodies, especially if they reduce their consumption of Omega-6 (polyunsaturated) oils such as safflower and sunflower oils and meat.
Other Products
Melrose Health manufactures and markets a range of proprietary products that are distributed through health food stores, practitioners and some pharmacies. A small range is also distributed through supermarkets, Australia-wide. Products are also exported to New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Japan and Bahrain.
